DRIVERS - must be aged between 25 - 70
(21-24 and over 70 will be considered after reference to the Insurance Company).
LICENCE - must be a Full UK licence and must have been held for a mimimum of 2 years. Preferably free of endorsements although up to six points for minor offences is acceptable. (Licences with more points or more serious offences will be considered on an individual basis after reference to the Insurance Company. A surcharge will apply.)
PAYMENT - must be made by debit or credit card. (Credit card payments will incur a charge of 2%)
DEPOSIT - we take a damages deposit of £100.00. This can either be reserved against your credit card or charged to your debit card. This will be refunded on return of the vehicle in satisfactory condition.
INSURANCE - Fully Comprehensive Insurance is included in the rate quoted. The excess is £250.00 or other amount as imposed by the Insurance Company.
DAMAGE - Any existing damage is recorded on the Hire Agreement. The vehicle is checked on return and the repair cost of any damage (e.g.scratches/dents/accident damage) up to the insurance excess is the responsibility of the hirer and will result in loss of deposit. By signing the Hire Agreement, the Hirer authorises Arrow Van Hire to charge the balance of the Insurance Excess to the debit/credit card details given. Once the full cost of repair/loss of earnings is known, any overpayment will be refunded.
PLEASE NOTE - Damage to tyres (including punctures), wheels, windows and interior is hirer's responsibility and will result in loss of deposit. Damage caused by hitting overhead or overhanging objects is hirer's responsibility entirely.
ACCIDENTS - All accidents and incidents should be reported at the earliest opportunity and our accident form completed at the scene and handed in on your return. Failure to do so could invalidate your insurance.
FUEL - All our vehicles use diesel and should be returned with at least the same amount of fuel as when collected. Vehicles returned low on fuel will incur a refuelling charge. Credit will not be given for vehicles returned with excess fuel. PLEASE NOTE - it is ILLEGAL to use RED DIESEL and anyone found having done so will be reported and prosecuted.
CLEANING - the Hirer is responsible for returning the vehicle in a clean condition inside and out. Cleaning charges apply.
NO NOXIOUS SUBSTANCES OR PETS ALLOWED IN VEHICLES.
